is a Theatre Company set up in 2007 by Colin CGN Ward and Kathryn Penton.
The two met after appearing on stage together in a local theatre production,
and taught for several years at the Next Generation Youth Theatre in Mossley,
teaching children from Mossley, but also as far afield as Stockport, Oldham,
Ashton-under-Lyne and New Mills.
Kathryn and Colin decided to bring their experience of working
with children and love of theatre together to form a new company, bringing
high quality theatre performances, workshops, and teacher training into
schools, and drawing on their experiences of primary teaching and performing.
Colin and Kathryn work together to devise, write and perform the pieces,
which can be tailor-made to suit your school’s needs.

Peter joined the company in February 2011. He studied Drama and Theatre throughout school and college before going on to study Business Computing with Software Development at the University of Huddersfield.
He joins the company as Education Administrator and will be focusing on YouTheatreUK, helping us continue to provide the highest possible quality of service to you and of course our performers.
He will take over as first port of call for any enquiries about YouTheatreUK and deal with the day to day running of the company. As a youth he frequently attended Oldham Theatre Workshop and therefore appreciates how advantageous workshops and performing at a young age are for development and character building both in theatre and in day to day life.
Peter’s favourite theatre productions are Blood Brothers and Jesus Christ Superstar, the latter of which he has performed in. |

Sean Wilcock has a BA (Hons) in Technical Theatre. He graduated from University of Huddersfield in the summer and has worked in various professional theatres throughout the North West.
We are incredibly happy he has chosen to further his career in theatre with us. He joins as Productions Administrator/Technical Director. He will primarily take responsibility organising and maintaining administration of the company.
He will also be designing all technical aspects of our productions. His experience and knowledge of these aspects of theatre, from stage management to lighting and sound design, will add an entirely new dimension to our company.
His enthusiasm to pass on what he has learned will open up a whole range of new possibilities for our young performers. |
